Problem i noticed: I recognized a critical safety issue: in emergencies, especially in high-risk environments, individuals need a way to alert trusted contacts discreetly without escalating danger. Traditional alarms or phone calls are often too conspicuous or slow, putting users at risk.

Solution I rendered ✅: I’m building the Silent Alarm App to address this gap, using React Native and Expo for a cross-platform mobile app with a clean UI styled by Tailwind CSS 3. The app features a silent panic button that sends GPS-tracked alerts to trusted contacts via Firebase Firestore, ensuring real-time communication. Firebase Auth secures user accounts, while Stripe integrates monetization for premium features like multiple contacts. I optimized for fast response times (under 2 seconds for alerts) by leveraging Firebase’s real-time database, enhancing safety for users in vulnerable situations.
